Isthmus of Corinth

Isthmus of Corinth connects Peloponnese and the central part of Greece. Its length is 6.3 km. The construction of the canal began in 1830 and was completed in 1893. If you pass by during your trip, we recommend stopping and enjoying the view. Usually there are several activities available for visitors. These could be a swimming competition, bungee jumping, windsurfing or canoe kayaking, planned in a daily basis or according to season.
